Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you use Bochantoy Online (including the free Design Brief tool and the Evaluation design review service), why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we only use your data to run the service you asked for, to reply to you, and — only if you say yes — to send you occasional updates. We never sell your data.

1. What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, company and country (when provided), your design files and brief details (artwork, dimensions, materials, quantities and notes) when you submit a Design Brief or contact form, and the plan or tier you are interested in.

Automatically collected data: if you consent, standard web analytics data (pages visited, approximate location at city level, device and browser type) via Google Analytics 4, and advertising measurement data via Google Ads. If you decline, these tools run in a cookieless, aggregated mode.

Local storage: we store your language and theme preference, and your cookie consent choice, in your browser's local storage. These are functional, not advertising, cookies.

2. How we use it

We use your information to: deliver the service you requested (generate and email your design brief, perform design reviews, process payments through PayPal); reply to your questions by email; improve our pages and tools; and, only with your explicit consent, send occasional industry tips and product updates, and contact you about your project. Our team may reach out using the email address you provided when you submit a brief or inquiry — that is part of the service you requested.

3. Marketing emails — opt in, opt out

We only send marketing or newsletter emails if you tick the "keep me updated" box when submitting a form. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing hello@bochantoy.com. Declining marketing emails never affects the service you purchased or requested.

4. Cookies & consent

On your first visit we show a cookie banner. If you accept, analytics and ad measurement run with cookies; if you decline, they run without cookies (Consent Mode). You can change your mind any time by clearing your browser storage for this site and choosing again. We do not use cookies for anything you have not consented to.

5. Sharing & processors

We share data only with the providers needed to run this site: email delivery and hosting, Google (analytics/ads, subject to consent), PayPal (payments), and our own engineering team. They process data on our instructions under their own privacy terms. We never sell or rent your personal data.

6. Retention & security

Uploaded design files are deleted automatically after 30 days. Brief records and order records are kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet accounting or legal obligations. Data is stored on access-controlled servers; uploads require server-side verification.

7. Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time — email hello@bochantoy.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
